Firstly, David would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended the book launch at The Slubbers Arms, it was a roaring success. 

Within seconds of David arriving he was put into action signing (and more importantly) selling books.  In fact David sold out of his stock of books and had to reserve additional copies.

The event not only allowed David to officially launch his first book but it also saw the first time that all the Green family had returned to the Slubbers since they left in 1996.  It could of been described as a kind of reunion?!  A lot of the family took time to look around the pub and relive a few happy memories.

The event finally came to an end at around 11.30pm.  Thank you once again to everyone who attended the launch and to everyone who purchased a book or brought in their own copies to be signed.  If you weren’t able able to obtain a signed copy of the book, you can purchase one through this website.

Here’s to the book launch of David’s next book... whenever it may be.

A buffet was on offer which consisted of pork pies, cheese and biscuits and pate.  We hope that everyone managed to get a nibble at some point during the evening.  As you can see from the picture the Green clan laid claim to the buffet table and grazed for most of the evening!

(LEFT) - Even the lovely Lynda managed to bag herself a copy of the book.  Obviously she had to pay like everyone else!
